Opportunities to Serve:
We have a variety of volunteer positions as well as varying levels of commitment as outlined below. We are also open to any special skills you are interested in sharing. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Event Committees – Volunteers are needed to plan and execute various events. While Event Management skills are necessary, event volunteers are also keys to our success.
Training Research Team – develop a high-quality training program for each volunteer program, whether volunteering on committees or sharing talents in one of the mentorships
Skills Research Team – develop an amazing skills test to determine a child’s intrinsic skills and talents to match them with the best possible business mentor
Social Media Monitor – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
We recognize the importance of a mentor in a domestic violence survivor’s life, and will develop specific criteria, screening, and education to prepare all mentors in working within a sensitive relationship atmosphere with domestic violence survivors.
Women’s Mentor –
This mentorship will be through local churches to provide women with spiritual encouragement and eliminate isolation. A mentor will contact her mentee each week and meet once per month. She will connect her mentee with bible study or small groups and encourage her to stretch outside of her box.
Children’s Business Mentor –
The most crucial and time-consuming volunteer position is becoming a business mentor. Business mentors interested in encouraging and inspiring young minds in their specialized careers, or passions branching to potential careers, will be dedicating a small portion of their life, but the resulting rewards will be astronomical.
We are also registered with Amazon Smile, PayPal Giving, GoFundMe Charity (formerly Crowdrise) and GuideStar (now known as Candid) if you are interested in donating in financial ways. Shop Amazon Smile and have 0.5% of your purchase donated to Titanium Rising at no cost to you.
